What is CrossFit Revolution Boot Camp?
CRBC is a functional fitness boot camp. We will meet up to five days a
week for approximately one hour per day. CrossFit is a strength and
conditioning program that incorporates modalities from track and field,
gymnastics and Olympic weight lifting. In camp we substitute primary
callisthenic exercises (push ups, sit-ups, squats etc.) for some the
Olympic Weightlifting component. We feel one's own body provides
perfect natural resistance for exercise training. The fitness
experience you'll find here is dramatically different from anything
taught at a conventional gym. For example, doing ten bicep curls at a
health club doesn't mean you can do a single pull up. This is exactly
the type of industry deficiency we aim to remedy. Our purpose is to
help you obtain a higher degree of health, fitness and functionality in
your daily activities. Throughout the four weeks we'll visit many
topics including stretching, diet, body composition and motivational
concepts. Your self confidence will grow when participating in this
fun, challenging and positive group setting.
What if my level of physical fitness is different from other campers?
Not a problem. Our camps are designed to be scaled to each individual
within the group. Most components within the program are time-based in
nature. For example, complete as many push-ups as you can in 30
seconds. Some campers may perform twenty others may complete five
modified push-ups. It's up to the individual and their fitness level.
This allows everyone involved to receive an intense workout that is
compatible to their fitness level. Campers can take a rest break or sit
out certain segments entirely if they wish. Of course for the program
to be most beneficial we recommend attempting every exercise with a
goal of progressing in the coming days and weeks.

What kind of results can I expect from the Camp?
Results can be dramatic. Much of the outcome is subjective to each
individual camper's commitment. No one will be barking orders or
holding your hand to a flame. However, if your commitment, desire and
work ethic are true the results can be life changing. You will see
gains in overall strength, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility.
Steady weight loss is an obvious by-product of this type of regimen.
You will also see an increase in lean muscle mass resulting in greater
muscle toning and definition. Your pre and post camp assessment is an
important component of our program. The assessment assists in tracking
your body's healthy transformation accurately. As you progress through
our program your body will become leaner and more efficient. Your
pre-camp body composition will dictate which overall positive effect
the camp has on you. Most people can expect to lose between 5-15 pounds
of total body weight, 3% - 5% reduction in total body fat and a 1-3
inch decreased midsection circumference.
Why should I join your camp?
This camp will help you achieve your fitness goals…whatever they may
be. You will also become a part of a growing grassroots community. We
strive to create a family oriented fitness community composed of
like-minded individuals. We offer many other group fitness activities
involving kids, mixed groups, classes and events. But the first step in
your fitness progression is our Boot Camp. We have a network of support
services including a local and national web based online forum. We
ascribe to a nationally renowned dietary and nutritional philosophy the
details of which will be provided at camp. Once you begin your quest
with us, you will become a member of the CrossFit community. Your
friends and family will notice the change. This camp is not intended to
be a one time event…we hope you will find the benefits of our program
rewarding and join us in future endeavors. East Hillsborough County has
been lacking in the area of community-based group fitness for many
years. It is our intention to fill this void. We hope you can help us

How much does the Boot Camp cost?
The program is $200 for 30 days of unlimited sessions which works out
to be $10 a day if you choose to attend 5 days a week…not bad
considering most personal trainers are charging $50-$70 an hour. We
strongly recommend that you commit to the full 20 day cycle. This will
enable you to see the most dramatic return on your investment. We do
